On the anniversary of Pearl Harbor & in the wake of some awful recent events, we coordinated a powerful and educational evening as we joined @tpgirlslax for an antisemitism workshop. Fortunate to hear from 94 year old Ben Milder who survived 6 concentration camps. Speak up and shine a light on darkness was the message.
Lacrosse teams were fortunate to learn about the Holocaust from an actual survivor. The teams took invaluable lessons from Ben Midler, Sandy Sheller, and Rabbi Jason Navarez on “Shining a Light” on all forms of anti-Semitism and prejudice.
The students were empowered by the unimaginable stories from tonight.
