One of the pillars of our program is Community. Our plays are proud to give over 80 community service hours each year. See below for a running list of this year’s programs.
2024-2025 Philanthropy Projects
12/12/24 - Holiday Toy Drive
This was our 15th year adopting families and working with partner organizations to help brighten the holiday for those less fortunate. Thank you to all that contributed.
11/15/24 - Thanksgiving Baskets
The team came together and built over 100 Thanksgiving baskets for those in need. This meaningful project captures how thankful we all are.
10/22/24 - San Diego Food Bank
The boys showed up and sorted thousands of pounds of fruit for the San Diego Food Bank.
Established in 2007, Feeding San Diego is the leading hunger-relief and food rescue organization in San Diego County and the only Feeding America partner food bank in the region.
Feeding San Diego provides more than 29 million meals every year to children, families, seniors, college students, military families, veterans, people facing homelessness, and other underserved populations. We distribute meals in partnership with more than 300 local charities, schools, faith communities, meal sites, and food pantries throughout the region.
9/8/24 - Jose Montano 5K Walk
The mission of the Jose Montano Foundation is to assist children battling cancer and support their families. “Never Give Up and Always Believe in Yourself” those are powerful words from 13-year-old Jose Montaño, diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a rare type of malignant brain cancer. Jose was a fighter; the South Bay teenager had been battling brain cancer since April 2011. The young fourth grade student underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. During his last 3 years, Jose underwent more than 30 cycles of radiation and 32 chemotherapy cycles. While enduring this serious life-threatening medical condition, Jose taught his family, friends and his supporters the true meaning of having faith, looking at the bright side of life, unselfishness, giving from the heart, not losing hope and believing in one's self.
